Step-by-step Instructions

1. Park your car on a level surface: This ensures your car is secure before you start working.
2. Loosen the lug nuts: Don't remove them entirely, just loosen them until you can turn them by hand.
3. Lift the car: Using your car jack, lift the car. Place jack stands under the vehicle for added security.
4. Remove the tires: Now you can remove the lug nuts and take off the tires.
5. Remove the old brake pads: Use a ratchet to unscrew the caliper bolts and slide the caliper off the brake pads. Replace with the new brake pads.
6. Replace the calipers: Slide the calipers back over the brake pads and screw the caliper bolts back in.
7. Reinstall your tire: Replace the lug nuts, tightening them as much as you can while the car is lifted. Lower the car from the car jack and then fully tighten the lug nuts.
8. Check your work: Start the engine and press the brake pedal a few times to make sure everything is working properly.
